十二月，包含IBM、惠普與Accenture、EDS等科技業的競爭對手，齊聚美國華盛頓，討論一門正在崛起的新學問。
這門科學未來能否落實在教育中，也在美國國家科學研究院（National Academy of Sciences）掀起討論。
 
同一時間，全球教育界也發現，包括美國的柏克萊、史丹佛、康乃爾、南加大、以及英國的牛津大學，都已經悄悄開設相關課程或投入研究。
這學問就是服務科學。此外，IBM也宣布，在未來十年內，將招募五萬名服務科學人才。

想起了高中的好友曾經跟我分享的一首詩，
我們在多少的日子，每天下課後一起打球、討論人生的許多事物。
大學之後，卻礙於忙碌與新事物、斷了聯絡。

人一輩子有很多老師，我是說稍微正式的那種。
 
我的第一個老師，他是我的外公。教導我數學跟國字，另外還有繪畫跟書法。
他有兩面，在大家面前，必須有模有樣地作個模範，似乎好不拘謹。
然而私底下，有著個人想法、賭博以及閒暇時會上二樓彈鋼琴給外婆的浪漫老公。
